TIPS FOR RESEARCHERS!!!!
* Be sure to evaluate the source of your information. Remember, you
can't believe everything you read!
* Remember, most everyone has two family names: your father's, but
also your mother's. Don't feel you must restrict your research to just
your paternal family tree.
*Document-Document-Document-DOCUMENT!!!!! Always write down
where you find your information. That way you will not repeat sources.
*Talk to everyone in your family. Every tree shaker that I know has a
story of, "if only I had talked to.."
*ALWAYS write names on back of photos!! I can not stress this
enough!!! It is very sad to have a beautiful photo that is of some
unknown family member.
